On Sunday, February 28, from 01:00 to 09:00 (EST), we will be releasing new functionality for the Appery.io platform. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but our App builder and Backend services will not be available during the maintenance period. We greatly appreciate your patience.
Unfortunately, recently we had a failure in our databases hosted on Amazon and we lost some part of the data that was added to the databases after December 11th. We are trying to restore this information in the databases, but sadly, there is no 100% guarantee that it will work out and some of the data may be lost. Right now we are doing maintenance and it will run until 8:30 am (EST). Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Heads up! As the new year starts, we will have to take down the development platform (App Builder) for two maintenance windows (times US Pacific).

This is all due to Amazon AWS updates that have to be performed. We will try to minimize the Appery.io development platform’s downtime as much as we can, but the downtime could last through the whole window for each window. Remember, though, all our Backend Services will continue to work without interruption during this maintenance.
As you probably know, a new attack called POODLE security vulnerability breaks SSLv3 secure browsing. To protect your information from being intercepted, spied upon or modified by attackers in between you and the service provider, we have stopped using the unsecured SSLv3 protocol and now only use the more secured TLS protocol.
Please note that due to an Amazon-required server migration, Appery.io will be undergoing a mandatory maintenance update on Sunday, September 14, starting at 12:00am Pacific Time (midnight on Saturday night). Both the development environment and backend services will be unavailable for about 2 hours, from 12:00am until about 2:00am Pacific Time as we complete the migration.

Update: new times published
As you probably know we had an update over the weekend. A number of updates didn’t work the way we expected, and we are going to roll back some of the updates. We are very sorry about this. This will ensure you can continue using Appery.io, and your apps will continue to run while we resolve out any remaining issues. Once everything is 100% resolved, will have another update in a couple of weeks.
We are going to start the update around 5pm Pacific Time, and it will last until about 10pm Pacific Time, Monday, May 26.
